Advantages of the Daidalos technology
The Daidalos sutureless vascular graft connectors are making use of the memory metal Nitinol. On one side these connectors are incorporated within a synthetic vascular graft, and on the other side there is the free side of the connector to be connected to a natural vessel or other vascular graft.

The Daidalos Technology provides fast sutureless attachment of any inflow or outflow cannula of a temporary or permanent cardiac assist device (LVAD, RVAD, BIVAD)  to any hollow organ, being the left or right ventricular apex, left or right atrium, ascending or descending aorta, or pulmonary artery.

The technology makes minimal invasive insertion and removal without extra-corporeal circulation feasible.
